This Privacy Policy describes how HHmetrics (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our website at hhmetrics.com (the “Service”). HHmetrics is operated by Maquila360, S. de R.L. de C.V., a company registered in Mexico.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. What Data We Collect and Why
2.1 Account Registration
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and the authentication method you choose (such as Google sign-in).
Purpose
To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
Legal basis
Necessary for the performance of a contract.
Retention
As long as your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion request.
2.2 Payments
When you subscribe, we collect your email address and purchase history (plan, amount, date). Card details are processed directly by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. We never see or store card numbers.
Purpose
To process purchases, subscriptions, and upgrades.
Legal basis
Necessary for the performance of a contract.
Retention
As long as required by applicable tax and accounting obligations.
2.3 Analytics
We collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, clicks, session duration, browser type, and approximate country. We do not deposit cookies for analytics purposes. No individual user tracking occurs across sessions.
Purpose
To understand how the platform is used and improve it.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest in improving the Service.
Retention
Anonymized and aggregated. No individual-level retention.
2.4 Waitlist
If you sign up for a waitlist (for example, to be notified when a new poker format launches), we collect your email address.
Purpose
To notify you when new formats become available.

Retention
Until you unsubscribe or the relevant format launches.
2.5 User Notes
You may create personal notes on statistics within the platform. These notes are stored in our database and are only visible to you. You can delete them at any time.
Purpose
To provide a personal note-taking feature.

Necessary for the performance of a contract.
Retention
As long as your account is active. Deletable at any time by you.
2.6 Hand Lab — Uploaded Hand Histories
If you use Hand Lab, you may upload poker hand history files for analysis. We process these files to compute aggregated population statistics. Uploads are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Your databases are private to your account: no other user can see them, or the player names in your files.
Purpose
To provide personalized population analytics based on your hand history data.
Legal basis
Necessary for the performance of a contract.
Retention
Your data is retained as long as your subscription is active. Your databases are deleted 90 days after cancellation. On a Free account, your databases are deleted after 90 days without activity. You may delete individual databases at any time through the platform.
Processing locations
Hand history files and the resulting statistics are processed and stored in the United States.
3. What We Do Not Collect
We want to be clear about what we do not do:
— We do not store card numbers or financial details
— We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising
— We do not sell or share your data with advertisers
— We do not profile you for marketing purposes
— We do not show your databases to other users
All population data displayed on the platform is aggregated and anonymized. No individual player can be identified from the data we provide. Player names in your Hand Lab uploads are not visible to other users.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following categories of service providers to operate the platform:
— Account authentication

These providers may process data primarily in the United States. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
5. Cookies
HHmetrics does not deposit any cookies on your device for analytics or advertising purposes. Our analytics operate without cookies.
Our authentication system may use essential cookies strictly necessary for session management (keeping you logged in). These cookies are exempt from consent requirements as they are strictly necessary for the Service to function.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed in Section 4, solely for the purposes described in this policy.
We may disclose personal data if required to do so by law, court order, or in response to a lawful request by public authorities.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring entity.
7. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Payment information is processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant provider, and is never stored on our servers. Hand Lab uploads are transmitted over an encrypted connection, and access is restricted to the uploading user only. We process IP addresses to protect the Service against attacks and abuse. We also record, for each account, the number and type of requests made to the Service, in order to detect abuse and protect our data.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
— Access the personal data we hold about you
— Correct inaccurate personal data
— Request deletion of your account and associated data
— Export your personal data in a portable format
— Object to processing based on legitimate interest
— Withdraw consent at any time (for example, waitlist emails)

9. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed primarily in the United States by our service providers. By using HHmetrics, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer. We ensure that all providers maintain appropriate data protection standards.
10. Children
HHmetrics is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
